I don’t know what I’m more surprised at. That people are still banging on about this or that people really thought diesel could be “clean”.
Well if anything does come out of this, I do hope my lungs can get a reprieve. 20 years of commuting by foot in this city takes its toll after a while.

Well, it’s a pretty fresh and hella big automotive story that keeps developing. Diesel can be clean and is very efficient. As for the whole walking thing, good for you :]

I was having a conversation with my brother in law and he didn’t understand how serious the issue was. He said because people didn’t die, it shouldn’t be considered a serious crime since no one got hurt.

Good guy Americans. We buy less diesels than the rest of the world so when VW gets caught they don’t have to recall as many cars.
